opensuse 11.0 kde3.59 wine winmx3.54b4

I wouild like to use mxmoni or some other monitoring program with my winmx.
Could anyone help with installation information or advice on other software that would do monitoring under a linux based OS ?

MXM Works. Run MXM first under wine and tell it where your WinMX is and then set MXM to launch winmx. It then successfully hooks in to WinMX. This works under Wine for me.

I followed your advice and it works [just as you said] fine.
As an aside can you tell me which version of wine you are using?
I am still using 0.9.64 and am wondering if I should update to the most recent stable 1.0.1?
Also I am opensuse 11.0

I use Wine 1.01 and I haven't had any problems with it but I wouldn't update past that version as Nylly states in another topic .. https://forum.winmxworld.com/index.php?topic=5969.15.html I recently tried this version when I switched to Fedora and she's right, it doesn't work with WinMX at all.

Sorry for the double post but I think my last one lacks info about Wine 1.01. I only meant to confirm that I'm using it successfully with all WinMX programs.. WinMX, MXMoni, Robo, WCS, WCB, and a couple other programs that haven't been released yet. I'm sure there are many ways to manipulate the latest versions to work with WinMX but I'm not going through all that until I'm sure of the next stable version to work with all WinMX programs. Anyways I can confirm that MXMoni works with 1.01.
