2ndary vs primary

i have cable, but am having much better luck w/ running as a secondary vs; primary. Any thoughts as to why?

a primary connection uses a lot of bandwidth just for connecting to the network for relaying data around it, if you don't have an extremely fast cable connection then you would notice the bandwidth usage of it causing everything to run slower

if secondary works better, use secondary

Most of WinMx users are on broadband or cable... So, Since everyone is looking forward to get good download result...  they are all using a secondary connection.... the network is left with  less primary one... which are vital to the network.. isn't it a paradox?????

Please explain what is the effect (if any) of primaries using secondaries on the overall sharing experience of those ppl who are secondary users? Are we getting plucked clean? Please remember the poor- they'll always be with you..
