Hey it's been a while.. 

I fired up winmx tonight with peergaurdian and its list located at https://www.winmxgroup.com/PrimaryThreats.p2p and have noticed that its down or is nonexistent. Which really sucks because I dropped my external hard drive...(so much for putting all my eggs in one DUMPSTER sized basket...)

Every time I search I get the usual eastern character set and a bunch of unrelated crap now.

Any thoughts?

the winmxgroup list did not have an impact on the attacks on the network
the winmxgroup list was put together to stop your winmx client from sending traffic to business/government ip addresses when it received various requests with spoofed ip addresses.

the actual list is available somewhere, i'll see if i can find where when i get home.

Oh lol, okay my memory is coming back to me now... I remember reading that.

I have the list on another machine, was it ever updated? cause if not, I'll just pull it from there

no, it was a list of government and commercial websites, from what i was told they were pretty static
