Users cant upload from me, their connections time out.

Ive opened all ports (tried a few different sets)required in my firewall etc, cant think of anything else any help appreciated.

Tech;
XP SP1
Winmx 3.53 (secondary connection)
2 M/bs internet connection
BT 205 ADSL router
Zonealarm Pro (winmx has full access rights)

and tagging a little bit in the end i cant search or d/l with a primary connection.

have you also forwarded the ports in your router?

and, if you click settings then setup wizard at the top it will check if its all set correctly or not (click no to clear your existing settings, then just click next a few times)

Hmm , could you check your router is setup correctly Chuckskull , I have posted a useful link, follow the directions for port forwarding.
Please note though that you you will need to be logged in as administrator, and contrary to what you may read on the site you do not have to use a static IP

What provider (ISP) are you using? If you are using the default ports (6699 and 6257) then your ISP may be blocking the ports, so you should try another port (Some ISPs block all incoming connections). If you really can't figure it out, you should set your WinMX to "Unable to accept incoming TCP connections" as a temporary solution. That will make people able to download from you, but you won't be able to download from those who have WinMX configured in the same way

I use BT and i've been doing a bit of nosing about and a lot of ports above 6600 are blocked. But I have things to do so WinMX will have to wait til tonight thanks for your help I'll have to let you know if it works
