The European Commission is preparing to refer Germany to the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg, for failing to introduce a new law that would put it in line with the European data retention directive, according to a new report from Reuters. Read the rest here

This is a perfect example of the type of 'big brother' that I hate. It's also a perfect example of why I don't want the US following in the footsteps, or worse, 'falling in line with' the EU.
