HELP ME, PLEEEEASE

Hopefully someone will know what i'm talking about....... Okay I have Windows XP...........Connected by DSL............Version 3.53 of WinMx...... I should be a primary connection right?  Well i'm not it keeps kicking me back telling me that  --------> I cannot make a primary connection to the WinMx peer network for the following reasons:   -connection type unknown or too slow  -no TCP port  -no UDP  ...... SO THAT IS MY ISSUE I DON'T THINK I HAVE A FIREWALL BUT CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP CAUSE I'M NOT VERY GOOD WITH ALL THIS STUFF = (

firstly, you dont need a primary connection... but if you really want one

the connection too slow is because your selected connection speed is in correct, go to settings and select the correct option (DSL)

the TCP/UDP errors are because you aren't able to recieve inbound TCP connections/UDP packets, this could be a firewall or a router blocking it

if you share your connection with more than one computer you are likely to also have a router, if thats the case let us know and we will try and help you with that  (its probably easier to help with that if you come in to our chat room though)
