WinMx seems to be leaking?
« on: January 23, 2006, 04:04:36 pm »
I've noticed that since I installed winmx with the new 'install' fix patch, as soon as I start it, my
net traffic monitor shows a lot of data going out of my machine, even though there is NO activity in the transfer window.  What's going on?  Yesterday I watched it send out nearly a gig of, well, I don't know what.  I will have to stop using it until I find out what's happening.  Please help if you can.

thanks

padcrusher,

There are others here that can better asnwer this for you, but more then likely its just network traffic, and your running primary.  This means that your supporting the network and searches are sent through your connection.

Try cutting down on it by running on secondary for a while and see if its better...
