Newbie - cant find help on forum for my Router-modem :(

I need help on how to open the ports of my modem-router, these are my data:

OS: XP Professional Version 2002 with Service Pack 2
Connection: DSL
Provider: Streamyx (Malaysia)
Modem-Router: Aztech DSL 600E ADSL 2/2 + Ready Ethernet Modem


I used to have great dload speeds before WinMX got shutdown but now I can barely get more than 10k of dload and dload times out very often. I have disabled all firewalls FYI

Can anyone guide along please.
