Not sure what has happened there yet and have not actually got any details but the mxontrol site is not operational   :(

Hopefully this is a temporary thing, but..

http://mxcontrol.sourceforge.net/ normally resolves to here

http://www.mxcontrol.org

Neither are available, we can only wait for news  :?

a server goes down for a couple of hours and you have a fit, you need to relax a little... lol

btw, if you must know the entire server was taken out by a strange traffic variation that mysteriously appears originating from the same sorts of ISPs that get themselves added to the winmxworld block list, normally those strange traffic variations occur on the server hosting this site (as it also hosts winmxgroup.com which seems to be the target of the "strange activity") but it can handle the load without a problem - not sure what reason there is for the "strange traffic" to "randomly occur" on the other server though as all that one hosts of significance is mxcontrol and my websites, which are not really prime sites to want to take down... oh well, all we can do is wonder.

KM like it or not if something occurs its news, and I,m sure many of my readers are glad to know we are dilligently watching over all winmx resources for possible problems.

I think we both know the reason for the lame attacks on that particular server.
Some organisations never learn it seems, that  they cannot control everything.

i don't see the reason for it, there isn't anything on there worth taking offline, only little things like my websites and mxcontrol etc...

hey, how come you never panicked about the fact that my website was offline?!?!?! lol
