jumping to conclusions
« on: February 20, 2006, 02:16:39 am »
I have used winmx for years now - i love it. I share as much as my poor computer's memory will allow. However, some people really jump to conclusions about you sometimes. I had to move a load of files because my poor old machine is screaming at me, and i made one of those school girl mistakes and didn't point winmx in the right direction.   Instead of being given the benefit of the doubt and a warning that something was up i was sent a really indignent message. :x  Now i would have thought that my history would have been called up in the 'who is' but maybe i got all wrong and it can't. I know there are a lot of selfish b's out there but it Does upset you though when you really beleive in sharing.  :x sorry for the moan - feel free to ignore my vent   xxx
:D A BIG BIG thank you to all those tireless people who have made winmx work once more - deification is not good enough!!!!! :D

Whois only shows your time online & share stats since you last connected, if you miss & temporarily share zero files, it will show zero.  Yes some users call you names via the PM system when this happens, all you can do is correct it, forget about it & move on.
Blessed is he who expecteth nothing, for he shall not be disappointed.
