PC reboots when using winmx....help!

Lately I've noticed my machine will do a hard restart when I am using winmx.

Anyone else have this prob or may know whats causing it?

This actually sounds more like a processor over heating to me then an actual WinMx problem.  WinMx can be high maintainence as far as resources and possibly its causing the over heating. Be sure your fans are operating properly, maybe crack that beast open and check the heat sink on the processor and see if the fans need cleaning or replacing..

here are my current temps:

Temperatures   
Motherboard   38 °C  (100 °F)
CPU   19 °C  (66 °F)
CPU Diode   43 °C  (109 °F)
GPU   34 °C  (93 °F)
GPU Ambient   30 °C  (86 °F)

in control panel go to system > advanced > startup and recovery settings, and make sure that automatically restart is not ticked, it could be that there is a driver causing the system to BSOD, and the system isn't actually just restarting but is in fact just crashing (then windows XP is restarting itself to hide the error message, because M$ claimed that windows XP never crashes and has no BSOD...)
