fewer search resuls

the last 3 days,i have been gettinng very few file results,a search i make that usually gets about 150 results,now its about 25,this happens on all files.im usig latest winmxworld patch,until this i'd had no trouble at all.is there just fewer people on?thats quite a drop of users all of a sudden.i have xp pro(sp2)i was just wondere if other people were having the same problem.thanks

This sounds like a post I read somewhere.. but was unable to respond.. we wont get into why..

As for fewer results I would say this sounds like possible fake activity.  Or possibly just flooded fake searches..causing you to disconnect before you get ful results.

First thing I would do is to make sure when you search your using the filters that will remove 99.9% of fakes from your results.  Its possible that the previous searches you made had fake content in them, but the RIAA aka Macrovision have moved on to different content now, and your finding fewer sources now.

Its also possible that when you do a search for files that are being targeted at this time,  the results could be causing you to loose your connection to your primary and that ends  any searches. There is no cure for this except to again use the filters as discussed here:

So be sure to use the filters and your already using the patch that keeps them off this network in the WinMx Group patch.. so best recommendations are to possibly try a primary if your able,, if not be sure your using 3.54 beta 4 WinMx, the filters when you search, and be patient...

I can assure you that the numbers of users are actually on the rise not decline..
