WinMX has encountered a problem and needs to close

I have v3.53 - it was fine yesterday but now getting message "has encountered a problem and needs to close". I have downloaded patch but WinMX still wont load!!  I confess I am not technically minded - so please - help!! - a simple solution??

First step is to remove any incompletes you have from the transfers screen, you dont have to delete them but just click the 'Unload Incompletes' button for now on the Transfer screen.

Then with WinMx off reload this patch for your version of MX

Now restart WinMx, if its fine then you can start loading your incompletes and finding sources for them one at a time please, making sure they dont find hundreds of sources or start downloaiding at massive speeds (both are indications of fake files)
