P2P Revolution Reminder

Folks I know many of you know about the P2P revolution winmx hash site, but for those that do not take a peek and you may find it helpful to locate items that may not be online 24/7

You simply use the search tool to locate something you like and then install a special tool ( you,ll only need to do this once ) that downloads the file details striaght into your winmx transfers window where it will automatically start searching for sources, its been very useful in locating obscure items.

Remember to rate the files you do get as that will help keep the list a quality one.

What exactly does this program do? All it does when I open is ask for the directory where I store my incomplete files and then nothing.

I know that. Here's what I did: Downloaded the program(53KB) Then I Unzipped it and got an exe. I installed that and then I got another exe(23KB). Now when I double click this exe, what i get is the program asking me for the location of my downloads. Fine I direct it to the location. Then click OK. Then nothing happens. I did keep winmx on. Still nothing. What am I doing wrong?

When you select a file just double click on the link ,there is no need to save it.

Once this is done you should look in the transfers window in winmx and hopefully be able to see a file name in red, yellow or green, depending on whether the file is on the network or not.
Failure to see the file listed in your transfers window is usually an indication of the tool not being installed properly.

You can of course cut and paste the hash information directly from the site without using the tool, then do a normal winmx search for it.
