Does changing the winmx version help?

Not that this should make a big difference, but are you using km's vista patch?

Cheers :P
Reconnect to winmx with the blocking patch :)

I'm running MX Monitor 1.28Eb with WinMX 3.54b4 under Vista Home Basic. The startup was a little shakey, but it works like a champ now! I do have the Vista patch installed.

Try running mxmoniter under win 98 or win xp compatibility also, give the winmx folder administrator access

Hi, Thanks for the reply. Have tried all that a while ago and recently, just to make sure. No luck.  It doesnt matter, I will see if there is any other upload manager that will work. I like Vista, but its a pain in the ass at times
