Hi.
I am using winmx 3.54 on windows xp.  I recently had a problem start up that i can't figure out.  When i start winmx everything is fine i get downloads and uploads qued and running, after a few hours everyone in upload que is timed out one after another waiting for incoming connection.  The people uploading are also bumped off.  To get people back i have to close winmx and reopen again.
I hope some can help.

what firewall are you using? * has a small bet with himself the answer is  "ZoneAlarm" *

windows firewall is disabled have linksys router. using port magic with router to help with problems on certain programs.

Did you use port magic for winmx? or did you forward ports properly? winmx isn't ideally suited to port triggering

Go to www.portforward.com to see exactly how to configure your router to allow winmx's ports. Also enable winmx in your firewall.

Reconnect to winmx with the blocking patch :)
