do you manually join the other room yourself before redirecting (always a good way to make sure it's working)? and does the other server have any error message when redirecting? do the connections even reach it?

I often /exile a single user first to make sure it's working.
Also make sure you have the exact rooname without any spaces at the end etc...

the ones leaving are probably 3.31 or non-winmx (which will leave then join the new one, as apposed to the 3.5x method of joining the new one first)

as nylly said, are you sure the room name is correct? (no spaces on the end or anything like that)

has host of destination got incoming redirect allowed? (you don't state if BOTH rooms are WCS, some rooms require setting up to allow incoming redirects)

that would seem extremely odd, what about WCS to another server? and also does /exile work?

How about you describe the problem a little further.

What exactly happens when you redirect?

You type /redirect <channelname> and then what?

You get the message Redirecting... Please wait... and then?

And what happens if you use the command /exile to redirect a single user? Does that work?
