Sharing Issue

not sure if this is the right place for this but ere goes,i just put the new 354 version on,all is ok but i cant get it to see my own shared wmv files.mpgs,avis are ok but even after puttin the extension in the shared files it still wont see them.any help please

Hi mpg1965

Sharing on Version 3.54 can be quite different, much more control over shared files and its a good thing but takes some getting used to.  Here is a page that explains it better.

Make sure that from the Settings Tab > Library > Those file types are listed.
Go to your library page, right click the folders that contain these file types and choose File Types, make sure there is a check beside the file type.  Now right click the folder again and choose refresh.  Also make sure they are 'listed' on this Library page by expanding the

• sign, look over to the right and make sure there are not Red X's on those files.
