Quote
A record number of people visited cinemas in Western Europe in 2004, with admissions reaching 896.6 million, an increase of nearly 50 million on 2003.
The UK is among the countries predicted to show the strongest growth in cinema admissions in the next five years.
However, cinemas anticipate a drop in attendance in the first half of 2005, though not as dramatic as sluggish box office figures at first suggested

Well this is the sort of news the industry likes to bury as it shows that all the predictions made in march earlier this year are just so much greedy hot air, they said the same last year as this year.

Simple thing to note folks , dont believe the Cartels hot air until the financial year has ended as their predictions seem to be forever wrong (or worse fiddled   )
