WinMx Music a scam?

i recently noticed on the web a product called WinMx Music(latest version 4.6.8 ) What is this? is it another scam? someone ripping off the winmx name?.Does it use a entirely different network from the real winmx?. From the screen shots i have seen, seems a lot different, its published by aresgalaxy (which isnt affiliated to the real ares file sharing program)

Its just a crap prog with nothing to do with winmx & a total virus magnet at best .... definatly one to avoid sophie.

Over the years many scammers have tried to trade on the good name of frontcode/winmx technologies offerings, none of them have been anything other than scams or rip-offs.
