Change of host

WinMXWorld has been moved off of the german winmxgroup server and on to a web hosting account (in preparation for the german server being taken offline next month)

I decided to just use a web hosting account instead of putting it on one of the new servers that are replacing the existing 2 purely because it's less work to maintain everything this way (there is so much to deal with when trying to change any configuration that it is wasting a lot of my time trying not to break one thing when i change something else)

With luck you shouldn't notice anything major - perhaps some users might take a while for their DNS resolver to clear the old server out of its cache so there may be a small delay before they can see the forum (users whose system has not yet started using the new host should still be able to access the site, just the forum will show as locked)

any problems post here and let me know

note: the archive is currently "sort of working", I'm not sure what the problem is there but am working on it - everything else seems fine as far as i can see

edit: archive should be working now (no idea how i fixed it, but i did i think...)

I've noticed that, at times, the site now responds appreciably slower, it's working fine, but I have on occasion sat drumming my fingers on the desk.. It's most noticeable with the forum, when it happens.

just when reading threads? because there is a small delay there for admins with the DNS lookups that it does, I can't find the correct address for their outbound DNS servers so am having to use a less reliable one, should be only admins with that problem though
