i have no clue what this means but it says i have some codec error and the file type is wrong n cant be read....wut do i do???

Quite often you'll get that message because the video format isn't supported by your media player or you are missing the codecs for it or both.

You can try installing and using VLC Player (VideoLAN Client). I used it while on Windows 98se and now on Windows 2000 Pro sp4. It seems to support almost any OS and supports a lot of video types.

Personally, i like this one http://www.bsplayer.org/ seems to play just about anything video wise.

But if you want to stick with what you have, best DL a copy of Gspot - http://www.rita.lt/video_tools/GSpot25b3.zip then simply open your video file in Gspot, it will identify the required codec, then simply Google for the codec, DL, install and your done!!!
