quickmx keeps sending out searches over and over again, this means the network has to process more and more of your searches, so other users searches can't be processed - the more users use quickmx the worse searches become, its use is strongly discouraged by anyone who wants to help winmx survive, the only people who generally use it are leeches who don't care about anything but themselves who typically don't share anything either
