limit the outgoing traffic

I am using Sygate and WinMX 3.51.
I notice that when I am donwloading files using the WinMX program, the outgoing traffic always exceeds 50KB per second.

I have no idea how to limit the outgoing traffic in Sygate to 10KB instead.
Please help!

In winmx, click settings, go to bandwidth throttles and adjust the outgoing traffic in bytes to a vlaue you are comfertable... Check the box when you are ready.. Be careful not to throettle your downloads instead of your uploads ;)
Go to this link; to see the recommended throttles for your connections.... Be sure to cliose all internet applications when you click on it...
