ignore-list/Private settings

Hi,

I have two questions :
I appear to be on some users' ignorelist, but because they ignore me I can't send a message to ask what the problem is. How do I get through to those users to solve a possible misunderstanding?

Sometimes when I try to send a message I get : Message not send due to private settings. Who's private settings? What private settings? What does it mean? Do I have to change something?

Do you share 100+ files? I'm asking as if you are not sharing that much, it could mean that you are ending up in ignore lists as they will think you are a leecher.
Sometimes, people just don't want to recieve any messages, so they will make sure that no one can message them by making the appropiate settings.
If you have been ignored, then the message that you are being ignored by the user will come up.
You can't do anything in your side. The messages won't get to them as they don't want any.
You can change you name slightly and then you can message them eg:
If your name(in winmx) in abc, change it to abcd and you'll get out of that user's ignore list

Privacy settings for your own PMs are located in Settings > Incoming Msgs & Privacy .. here you can see some various settings..

Sometimes when i recieve that message from users I do a quick browse and get into thier queue, this allows some messages to go through.. although it wont help if they are set as Sam says.. no messages
