Can't connect - invalid username

I had to reinstall winmx today and I imported the same server list (found on the tutorial section) I had as before but now on every server it says invalid username when I try to connect.

I tried changing my name in settings and that didn't work. I use mxmonitor as well but other than that all my settings are the same. Any additional things I can try?

have you tried right-clicking on the network and editing the user name there?  the only other option i can think of is deleting them, then checkint your settings to verify that the user name for open nap is a valid one, and finally re-import the server list.

no need to delete the server list and all

Simply go to settings>opennap
set a valid username only alphabets and numbers allowed.
Set some password and click on reset opennap params to default.. should work
