Can`t connect at all

Hi, I`v used WinMx in the past but now I can`t seem to connect-the yellow light keeps on blinking, never turning green  :(
I`m useing Win89, DSL connection, PC-cillin 14 is my firewall and winmx is on the exception list. Can you help with clear, step-by-step, instructions?

step 1. go to www.winmxgroup.com
step 2. click download now
step 3. click open/run
step 4. click next a few times on the installer
step 5. enjoy using winmx

it should be as simple as that ;-)
