DoD Network Information Center

hey i am faithless i would like some help please because i am kinda confused about something i have installed peergardian and within 5 mins of me instaling it peergardian said that the DoD Network Information Center attempted to do something to my computer. The funny this is they have been blocked by peergardian.

Can someone please tell me who DoD Network Information Center are
and why they wanna see what i am doing

DoD is Department of Defence, this is the military information centre and your computer sometimes connects to it to set clocks and god only knows what else it does. They are also a .mil domain so they are military and what does the military do? They can gather information hence why peerguardian is blocking them.
