Author Topic: CAN SOMEONE DO A CHECKLIST TO GET WINMX BACK THE RIGHT WAY? (Read 1644 times)

I have used the new patch with WinMx 3.53 on my XP SP2 and still cannot connect with Window Firewall down. What else can I do? Can someone come up with a detail checklist to get back up before 1000's of users ask the same questions? Thank you.

I got it yesterday, thank you. The WinMx window shows the message "Patch Operational", so I guess I did this right, but it still won't connect. I'm not an expert on PC and that's as far I can go on my own.

Don't worry, I have the same problem, using the new patch I am not getting a connection. Let's be patient!

It is not a patch, but a list that directs you to a 'cache' in order to find the 'nodes' to the network.

Mine doesn't say 'Patch Operational'

Mine says: 'Please be Patient!!!'

Something funny there.

The new 'Patch' is on the front page..

This one is a patch in the truest sence of the word.. its a .dll file that goes into your winmx folder...
