Setup DSL

I used WinMx for years on dial up. I recently switched to DSL. It seems to download songs okay but not always. Video is a different story. During setup when it searches for incoming or outgoing ports seems to be the problem. I don't know enough to be changing settings around. Thank you.

Winmx is designed to set itself up for whatever port setup it finds, while there is a very good guide at www.portforward.com for setting these up on the vast majority of modems & routers where it's desirable to do so, if you don't feel equal to the task winmx should still set itself up to work, basically if you get downloads & uploads (at all) & search works the file type shouldn't matter..
