Seems Vladd has conned Microsoft about it.

yes Happy Dude, we did a post about this a while ago and a few of us complaied to Microsoft telling them their info was incorrect, did they listen ?  NO

of course it is making the assumption that microsoft actually read those responses, it wouldn't surprise me if they didn't even bother saving them and merely have the feedback form there as a way of looking like they are listening to users

I'm running vista and winmx 3.54 beta 4,and it crashed this afternoon.lo and behold there it was from micro soft telling me to down load a newer and upgraded  version at vladd web site.didn't do it and wont go there.the only other problem I've had is can't get leechhammer to work. when i start it,it says winmx not running.keep up the good work and thanks for all your help

As you say Sam the forum is no longer with us and hasnt been for a while, as I pointed out a long time ago when ridiculous claims where made that the site was under attack but anyone could see it was actually a broken forum as all the other pages where available and the specific php error was displayed.

According to Vladds old moderator Nobby I,m misleading users by telling them Vladd didnt write the winmx software and that there is not a winmx update, not content with that this same former topic deletor seems to think I,m running a e-mail campaign of some sort, perhaps a good idea but all fantasy.

Actually anyone reading your posts on Slycks will note:

Nobby actually confimed the fact that MICROSOFT got it wrong, he in no way suggested you were incorrect in stating  Vladd did not write Winmx, this is clearly an error on behalf of MICROSOFT, not vladd, not Nobby, not Santa, or anyone else you thought to blame, MICROSOFTS claim, MICROSOFTS site, MICROSOFTS error, please try to understand the facts.

Ghostships dumb attempt to suggest that Vladds supporters in some way manipulated MS into making false claims, is totally a false suggestion.
