Is it only uploads or only downloads or both? I can only download one file at a time

Is it ALL or only some uploads or downloads? just downloads, I try various files and it will not allow me to download more then one at a time.  My settings are set to 6 downloads and 6 uploads

What operating system are you using? XP

What firewalls are you using, dont forget to mention whether its Service pack 1 or 2?  ZoneAlarm

Are you behind a router? I was, but am connecting through a modem alone now.  Not sure if settings from router have been wiped out though

Has this problem been a recent thing, if yes what have you changed on your computer that you know of?  Recent, and I just removed my router

I am not sure what the problem maybe , usually a blocked port is a 'All or Nothing deal'. you dont get one download to work.

I will say that I am suspicious that your finding the fakes that are being flooded onto the network tho..

Have a look there and use the filters discussed in 4) esp.. and let me know if this makes any difference for you please..
