primary connection slow

  I'm new to winmx world, but after the recent connection issues I d/loaded the most recent patch & winmx is working again.
My problem is that a primary connection on winmx slows down my d/loads & up loads & in fact it seems to slow down my entire internet connection.
Is this possible? Is this possible as I know primary connections are important to the winmx network. Please help. Thanx

Hi Arch666,

If your having issues with your connection using primary I would try secondary and see if its better, we're not in any emergency state needing primaires so give that a try.. and yes it can really bog down your machine and connections to other things.

Thanx for your reply, it used to be ok on a primary before this new connection issue. Always wanted to help & connect on a primary but thanx for letting me know it isn't necessary.

Well to be honest the problems your experiencing sound more like issues like I have on primary and just wanted you to know that a well configured secondary can work just as well or better then primary for some folks. 

Patches wont have much effect on 'how' your primary affects your transfers and and other internet use.. so thats got me thinking maybe its a system problem rather then patch issue.
