At 02:00 GMT July 15th, 2007.

Ive had to lock the Forum down due to one User abusing it by repeatedly posting abusive comments.  We've had to move approximately 10 posts from public view as they are solely abuse aimed at one member and one moderator.

This person has been banned in the past and that ban was lifted today in the spirit of allowing him a second chance.. He is now permanently banned and will be reported to his ISP.

I think that the forum could do without users like those. We dont need people posting the same thing in 15 topics. It clutters the forum and makes it look like crap. I dont tolerate this behavior on any one of my forums, and the action that has taken place here shows me that this forum is the same way.

well perhaps in future it would be wise for a ban to stay a ban and not just a time out ( unless theres a damn good reason for any possible missunderstanding in the 1st place)
From hosting rooms for many years i learnt that 95% of leopards hang on to them spots even if they do gloss them over with a diffrent colour now and then.

I agree with you however his permanate ban was lifted in good spirits only to be abused again.. I was allowing him to come on site to PM me a link to his site of Art.. see where it got me..

2) he asked politly to have his artwork removed months ago   did you   ( NO )

5) when he was being harrassed and stalked on your website here  did you do anything about it  ( NO )

i do not blame that man for what he is doing i suggest you people take a good look at yourselves.  You people instigated  it and now just because he is fighting back  you try to make yourselves look oh so innocent. That Man put alot of effort into his art for you ppl and you ppl just tossed him aside . i have no doubt this post will be deleted as you people in winmxworld only believe in showing people what they want to see and not let people know the actual truth.

I dont agree Jinx and heres why.

1) He did not ask politely to remove the items he said the community could help themselves to, he made a rather dramatic post demanding it should be removed or he would take legal action, we suggested he had no footing for such an act after donating it to the users, he also threatened to spam the site if his demands where not met as he has done today and on a previous ocassion.

2) I agree it was not in the interests of peace to have Hell make any comments but can you explain how that is our responsibility ? Are posters not allowed to think for themselves ?
Following this a stream of abusive comments passed across the forum but at no time did Dark Elves contact the site operators to ask anything, rather he decided to take matters into his own hands as he has done before in the past.

3) I dont agree that no one did anything to help and advise Dark about how to avoid those he claimed where persecuting him, myself, KM and Me-here all gave advice to Dark, in most cases it seems he took no action to limit the alleged stalking but regardless he had our help and support in his wishes, Its actually a shame he has mis-handled the advice many gave him as when he is not on the rampage he is a nice guy who I got plenty of time for. 

4) No admins or operators of this site instigated anything as you claim, its purely a dispute between Dark and other members of the community that we have become emeshed in purely as we didnt feel it was fair of Dark to give something to the community willingly and then demand it back after fighting with people we do not either know or care about.

The real issue of the is that Dark is a volatile personality and I think a very creative user, in my experience the two qualities do sometimes overlap in ways we have seen, unfortunately I and others have a responsibility to try to limit foul language and down right abusive comments, being aggreived does not give anyone the automatic right to abuse folks on a public forum.

Btw : As your post is not abusing anyone there is no reason for it to be moved, I say moved as we do our best to never delete posts but merely shift them out of the public arena if they are likely to cause offence due to the content, we feel this is acting in the best interests of the community and good practice for those operating a forum.

Dark I,m sure your upset but this is not the way to act, I hope you take some time to calm down and see things for how they are, its always a shame for us to have to lock folks out of the forum but as you are no doubt aware we have to make decisions for the public good and I support the banning in this case.

Jinx ive seen many post on this forum that on any other would have been removed. This forum has bee one of the few that  has gone the extra mile in letting all post remain. Not knowing if what you say is true or not i can not speek on that other person's art work. If what you say is true its sad things are as they are. But this is one of the only free speech forums left.

The posts made by Dark are currently stored in the moderators section Chuck they number about 20 and are of the sort that would cause renewed fighting and much personal abuse due to the use of words like "faggot" etc , I dont want to crack down on Elves but he cant go around abusing many areas of the mx userbase without literally hundreds taking offence at some of his comments.

1)  When dark asked for help when he was being accused by ppl for stalking on this website  by cord    now im looking through all the posts  by him  did you people offer him help or were you the ppl that accused him cause it sure seems to me you people accused him  where in fact it was cord who instigated it  and did you people take any actions when he asked for help? As  site owners you do have an obligation.

2) Is there a record of him stating he is goin to spam this website  prior to last few days . ( NO ) cause there isnt any. I have sat and read inbetween the lines you people don't remove those posts only ones damaging to yourselves . All I can see is his posts ones damaging his creditability due to posts being removed and moved all over the place .

3) KM  / You & Me Here offered advise well  what does that tell me about you people  whom operate this site and own.  You gave advise instead of taking action . After all  ,that took place on " this website " that he was being stalked and harrassed so when he took action you banned him   how conciderate of you people  that must of made you feel real proud to ban someone  whom was the victim.

4)you reported him to his service provider ? what did you say to them?  oh well you see sir he asked us to remove his artwork we said no and banned him so he is angry. now im sure that will go over well cause i am sure he will inform them what really happened. as you people would only tell them probably that this man is spamming our website instead fo telling them the actual reasons behind it.

5) i sit and laugh at if he looses connection over it and takes it to court because then it becomes a legal matter and the judge asks what started all this . well he asked us to remove his artwork and we said no and banned him.

6) did you ever take the time to find out really what made him so angry and want his artwork removed?    ( NO )

7) you people offered nothing but took everything so dont sit there saying hes the bad guy  all he asked was that post be removed first of all as i read it last night as im sure alot did . it was removed he got angry and started posting nasties.  would it not have been easier to just have removed that one post that was certainy uncalled for by Hell on Earth  then what has taken place between last night and today?     ( YES  )

I see that your not really interested in the truth of any of your claims Jinx as you are rather persistant in answering them yourself and ignorant regarding the details of the reply I gave to your previous post.

Lets look sensibly at the turn of events for a moment here, we removed a large quantity of abusive posts that had nothing to do with his original spamming or complaint as well as his previous campaign of abuse, threats and other spamming and you searched to find them and did not, does this mean that your fully aware of the contents of such posts ?
That would only be possible if you had sight of them before posting, as I,m not aware this is the case can I suggest you ask for facts before making judgements on flawed logic and only having half of the facts to hand.

If you have real questions I will do my best to answer them, rude rants that serve no purpose will of course be ignored.

[edit] After posting this dark elves posted from a 7th IP address to accuse me of being a liar and other half legible rantings focused at others on the site here, you have to wonder what he thinks there is to be gained acting in this childish manner.

Get over it Jinx it was a joke one that turns out to be none to far from the truth due to the fact dark is a unstable abusive individual who takes every thing as a slight against himself

as it turned out i was right on the money (because some ppl are so predictable with there behaviour)
as for the stalking etc that was room drama that was bought onto this forum and was asked several times to take it out of the forum and into private ( for the benifit of all the users here pissed off with lame rantings that belong in a play school)

dark seems to have a massive chip on his shoulder against many ppl & if my retorical post caused such a drama he realy needs to grow up some & smell the roses, it was a joke & only ment in that way as you can see from the smileys attatched to it & if that caused offence tough crap im not changing who i am to suit some one who is so plainly unstable & volotile  around anyone that does not agree with his every word & if i was to reply in the fashion of dark i would have a hell of a lot more to say on the subject all of which i would fully expect the mods here to remove as well.
but then some of us can be more restrained and take it to private as and when nessasary

 Ghost there  is no reason for you to explain any actions on the forum.Ive seen myself that you are verry fair in modding this forum. Ive had a few post over the years that after a few days ive seen that they should have been removed but you and the other mods left them. Ill not go so far as to say ill not post a few more that should be deleted but ill try hard to keep them few and far between.
