wcs config vanished

had room up for 6 days everything was cool then woke up to room going nuts went to try reload nothing was happening kept saying invalid command and we were all logged in so i went to the config and it was gone only thing left in folder was the ban list. had to redue wcs.
has anyone else had that happen. been using it now for about 2 months
everything was fine.  its odd for files to dissapear without being deleted is there anything that could of caused it . and for the last few days before that started to happen i was seeing duplicate names.
any help would be appreciated.

erm, are you certain that was the right folder? because... erm... in theory you shouldn't even be able to delete WCS if you tried to while its running, let alone have it just vanish for no reason... although that doesn't apply to the other files, but there is still no reason that they should have deleted themselves

anything else strange been happening on your system?
