MXmonitor not working on new patch?

Hi , finally was able lo connect with the newest  version 3.54 from here, i had the same 3.54 version before but without the new settings that let it connect. Im running mxmoni 1.28eb on  windows xp( no SP2), mxmoni still has all the settings as previos installation.

Check if the path of the winmx.exe file is entered correctly

the path is correct, is on the right version but for some reason it wont start people im dl from

Does it otherwise work alright?
I mean clear leeches and all? Does it start selected (say under 10mb) uploads automatically?
Also, just double check the settings again...

Max total Uploads (file transfers queueing in winmx settings) has to be a lower number than Limit simultaneously Uploading" in MxM for auto start to work...

a fresh default install of winmx usually sets this to a higher number than most users actually set manually.. if you'd previously decreased the winmx settting, it would explain the problem.

ok so  by accident when i chabged number of uploads on winmx to 1, monitor started working, it only works on that number of uploads though, i changed the number to 3 in winmx and on the monitor and it wont work

if you change it to 3 in winmx you'll need to change it to 4 or more in mxm

Hello Gurus
I was having issues using winmx3.54beta4 my dsl modem usb light would go out meaning I lost my connection. Maybe this was due to my older system, 256k ram,WindowsMe,and instead of using supplied ethernet cable which came with modem, I'm forced to use a usb cable, cause I aint got an ethernet card, Processor is an amd k6/3d. So I've opted to use winmx3.31 and have noticed slightly better results. I'm using a secondary connection, slightly better results meaning my winmx will run longer with fewer occasions of having to reset modem. I did install the mxmonitor 1.28 and am not sure if its working correctly, for example somebody qued up 25 songs in a row and it did not boot em or block them from hoggin up all those songs. I did untick the setting that lets winmx auto start when mxm is started because it was starting the 3.54 version instead of the 3.31 version. Do I need to completely uninstall the 3.54? Because it along with 3.31 is in the same folder. Also on the mxm tutorial I got a bit confused as to where to put the path of the log file. I'm not against sharing its just that whenever someone cues up a buttload of songs, seems to coincide with my modem needing to be reset, i,e, usb light going out and losing connection. I'm not sure if mxmoniter was compatible with 3.31, I think it was for only 3.5x versions

i used MxM with 3.31 for years

Oops lol
I thought so because 1.29 asks for the patch to 3.5x.exe file. Anyways as I said I'm not sure lol.

Check if the path of the winmx.exe file is the same in mxmoniter.
