How to communicate to users to 'clear' ignore lists ?!
« on: September 11, 2007, 09:22:26 am »
(ok - i know this topic is probably be mentioned a few times !!)

How can WinMx 'communicate' to its Users to 'clear' their  IGNORE lists - or use MxMonitor ??

I'm getting tired of Users queuing on my list - and I am unable to trade with them due to their 'ignore' settings.  I basically will then clear from from my queue - only for them to come back again and again - of course the 'user' no understand what is going on !

I have one user who messaged me to 'trade' and when I responded i get the 'user is ignore you' message.    I appreciate that there is probably NOTHING that can be done - however - it is not possible to add any sort of 'message' onto WINMX MESSAGE BAR about this ?

any suggestions of 'fixing' this ??

Hi Shireboi

I am wondering if you are on a primary connection otor secondary?

Are you running a firewall?

Also have you ever forwarded your ports? As this can sometimes led to 2 people not having ports forwarded therefore can not connect.

Please let us know your answers to those questions and we will see if we can help further.

you could also put a text file in your shared folder for users to read long shot but worth a try
