geesh  with this new patch i was hoping not to take so dern long to connect.    oh well,  i guess it will sooner or later.   hey  were we to remove the previous host file or just leave it alone.

i have downloaded patch and restarted ,still wont connect, have been trying for awhile now. please help

have installed new patch, still cant connect. am on windows xp,dial up, please help

Install the patch as instructed on Homepage

to your
C:\program files\ winmx folder   along with the WinMX.exe

If your on Xp do a dns flush

Start > Run>  type 'cmd' hit enter
At the Dos prompt type
'ipconfig /flushdns'

Then restart WinMX.. should get you on.. BE sure if your capable of a Primary connnection thats what you try first..

Then give it a few minutes.. the servers are very busy ...
