was having trouble connecting went to help. downloaded Pie auto updater. With it came div content uploader, guarding p2p definition, live help at vladd44 helproom . i got connected straight up great! I downloaded 2 or 3 songs, and some were up loaded.
Now Uploads are ok but every song i try to download goes straight to remote Queued 1 or 2 then goes red. The songs i pick have 6 out of 6 available so it shouldn't even go in a queue.
I am running winmx 3.54 beta 4, xp, broadband dsl,secondary user.
I hope this wasn't to long first post for me

I cannot be 100% but its more than likely that the files you are trying to download are fakes, please update your patch to include filtering and blocking of such files from here:

downloaded suggested patch still can't download

just had another go . It searches then i get, connecting to remote user or waiting for network reply, then it just goes back to red. I have tried heaps of different files they can't all be fake can they?? The patch should have fixed them anyway

Hi Tailah

With this patch you do not need to use peer gardian. I would suggest uninstalling this.

As you are on a adsl. You also might want to forward your ports. You can do this by going to http://portforward.com/routers.htm and looking for your moderm. This has a guide to follow with pictures on how to do this.
