Okay...I'm up and running on mx now. I can download with no problems, search with no problems, get chat room list with no problems, run on secondary OR primary now with no problems, I can even upload to others now....SO, here's the problem, the fly in the ointment, the burr under my saddle, so to speak: No One Can Get My List To Browse My Files !! The only uploads I have are people who seem to just auto-que on me....no one can get a Whois on me, nor can they browse my shared files, whether I am on primary connection or secondary...on secondary, I can refresh til the proverbial cows come home, and all it does is nothing as far as making my files browseable.....any suggestions?

yes, ports are forwarded through the DLink Systems Inc., same as they were before I lost mx...as I said, uploads and downloads work, its just the connection between users, i guess, since they cant even get a whois on my name...always shows that i am offline...

This may sound strange but i've seen this happen before to someone whos name was too long or had an illegal character in it. I dont know if this is the case with yours, it's just a thought.

Hmm, I have seen this happen to 2 ppl i know recently, same names they were using all along too. When they reinstalled mx they were fine til they put their old name back in and appeared offline after. I cant explain it (new bug maybe). Anyways, for anyone having this problem it's worth checking.
