How exactly can you get winmx to work on a proxy?
I set winmx to work via a socks4 proxy (and the proper port) but that didn't work.
I tried changing the dns servers to the ones which the computer on which I'm using winmx uses (found those with ipconfig/all).
Is it even necessary to to change the dns settings?
No login names or passwords are needed to access the network, as far as I can see. How can I confirm this?
Please do tell me how to solve this problem. It's been testing my patience for the past three months lol
The patch I used is the blocking and worked when I last used it at hime (which was around mid november)
If at all anything I did is wrong, tell that as well...
