Hello,
I'm getting ready to purchase an MP3 player, but I hear that some downloading services won't work on certain MP3 players. If someone could let me know if WinMX is supported by most MP3 players, that would be of great help!

you are thinking of other players that don't play mp3 files, generally they only play a single file type that you can only get from a single program, those types of players that lock you in are a complete waste of time and money (they normally insist you pay for every song you want, and because you have 2 choices of either pay them or not listen to anything, they also charge stupid prices) - the ipod is the only common one i know of with that problem of insisting on using their software, and then they still allow you to import your own mp3 files as far as i'm aware

any mp3 player will play any mp3 file, mp3 files downloaded from winmx are not in any way different to mp3 files downloaded from some other program, or ripped from a CD yourself

i got an ipod clone from ebay a few month ago for £30.. waste of money, cuz it broke 2-3 weeks lata..

but the features was amaazing..

plays mp3's wma's all the music ones (cept .ogg) played videos, pictures, radio, 4 games, phone book... and best thing u could use it as you would a usb pen drive to store all ur other files on.. no converter needed

shame it broke lol

just bought annother but its a different shape.. basicly same tho, 1gb, loud speaker.. alot cheaper to £20

i would recomend these to anyone but not the reliability..

chinese products would be more popular and people would buy them if they built them to last..
