First off, Hi to the WinMx community!  When this happened to me, I thought for sure that the application finally bit the bullet.  Today I got curious and did some research, found this forum and am now asking for some help!

My OS: Win XP SP2
i have a Linksys "N" home wireless router
Comcast isp

I've reinstalled it several times, different versions too(all with the patch). Tried it without the wireless router and still nothing. All it does is gets stuck trying to connect in the set up.  When it first stopped working, it just flashed yellow and never connected.  I'm pretty clueless where to go from here, since most of the people who reported the same problems had it fixed with a simple reinstall.   Please help me! I'm clawing the walls to get back into the community!  /0\

Make sure you have the latest patch from here( new since june 2007)...get the setup for existing installs.

If this does not work please leave your router model number here and we can sort port forwarding for you.

yeah, i d/l'ed the multi one from that link you posted ;) i wanted to be 100%.

the model number is....WRT150N.

Ok try port forwarding by using the link below and following the instructions bumbleb ...... this is the link for your specific router

if that doesn't help go into settings at the top of your winmx screen and go to incoming tcp connections tab & tick the unable to accept option
then go to the in/out udp packets tab & tick the unable to send/receive option
then go to networks  at the top left of the winmx screen and restart in secondary mode.
