Did I do something wrong?
« on: October 09, 2005, 02:06:58 am »
My hard drive went bad and had to be replaced. I had to download WinMx3.53 again and the Patch 2.6. I moved the patch to C:\Program Files\WinMX and cannot get a connection. The message window on top of WinMx shows "Please be Patient!!!".

What can I do to check what's wrong? I have Windows XP Home. I did't have any other Patch installed since the system went down (went directly to Patch 2.6).

I tried to follow the instructions from a post on the 29 "XP intallation step by step without success".

Thanks for the help.

Zusa,
If your running on XP then i suggest you give the patch we have a try, it will also block the flooders that are attacking WinMX.

There is so much misinformation around fixes. Thank you very much for your help. One less "P" to worry about. Keep up the good work!
