Looks like another fight on Microsofts plate.
http://www.p2pnet.net/story/15215Microsoft is already on the sticky end of a class action brought by customers who claim it allowed PC makers stick ‘Windows Vista Capable’ on PCs when it knew perfectly well the computers were anything but.
It’s also been accused of been overly concerned about Intel’s interests.
Now it wants the customer lawsuit suspended while it appeals a judge’s decision to grant the case class-action status, says OSNews, adding:
“If granted, the motion would also postpone any new disclosures of potentially embarrassing company emails.”
Sometimes you just have to ask yourself why a big company would not just come clean and say a mistake was made by us and the hardware folks and we apologise to any affected consumers, of course being the US is the land of the lawsuit even hinting at having potentially guessed at a problem is grounds for some "I blame.." specialists who live by Microsofts every word if you believe their claims, to launch cash grab-law suit, what a life eh folks.
