Hi Folks as many of you may have notice over the last 24 hours the site was relocated to a temporary hosting while a more permanent home is made ready so you can expect a few more minor hiccups but I hope nothing major.
As usual I,m sure you all have many questions regarding why the move was necessary and I,ll answer that here.
A fortnight ago MicroMecca indicated that it would no longer be possible for him to host the site and some of the other supporting infrastructure he was in charge of, while this alone was a serious blow for us as we had come to rely on his capable management we had to accept his decision with good grace and accept we would be looking for a new home.
As most of the regular forum folks know the site operates with a loose control structure, mostly on the idea that those most capable of a job usually step forward to do it, this makes for flexibility and gives some redundancy against single person failure, in this case a self organised team stepped up to safe guard the site and arrange the movements, they included Nylly, Tig, Tiny, Silicon Toad, and Me_here, I hope you can join me in thanking them for their time and expertise in keeping the flag flying here.

On a further note we will shortly be coming up to our third birthday and some further announcments will be made at that time
