On new installations it will try to dial up
www.winmx.com to make a connection.. it wont find that and it will fail.
The way around this is to stop the setup test and say.. 'I want to configure manually' ..
For TCP: Listen on port 6699 for TCP connections..
For UDP: send and recieve on port 6257 for UDP connections..
Do not use a proxy to connect..
Then complete installation and deposit the ws2_32.dll into the winmx folder when finished if your on XP/2000 or our hosts file with self installer if your on 98/ME..
