And with most of us busy with other things nobody's got the time to convert tham all.

However we migth be moving things about soon, so I'll look into  doing in automatically for all files maybe.

I am having problems getting into my regular chat room. I never had a problems up until a week ago. Suggestions????

Have you been in contact with the room host to ensure the room is still up?

Can you tell us a bit more, are you using winmx to chat? primary/soncondary connection? What is the room you are having trouble with?

Hello, I have been unable to connect to a regular chat room for the past week.  _BAFF967A1A2A

Things I've tried:-
1) clicking name in "Favorites".    2) Typing number in Filter.         3) Typing number of their back up room in Filter.
4) Used "Search" to look for files I know they have to try & bring up a user name from the Chat Room (18,000+ on list each time I search).

Unfortuneatly they are not on the "WinMx Chat Room List".

I am on a Secondary connection. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

what is the rooms name ? that hashcode you gave is just an encoded ip address and port number.... if the room moved it wont do you any good... you need is name...

But they look offline to me or they have changed name and/or IP and.or port

It never shows up in WinMx Peer Network list. Just have to find another room. Thanks again

It used to show up in the list (how else would I know the name and be able to retrieve it??? LOL) but really under their old IP and port combination they do not exist at the moment ...maybe they will be back ...who knows

PS even searching for a room named only "Bored" did not turn up a match

I lost most of my WinMX functionality.  The searches are still messed up, but now on top of garbage results, I'm getting few results at all, even with simple keywords rather than a full title.  And worst of all, I when I go to chat, no results whatsoever come up, and I can't enter the room in my favorites, as I click it and nothing happens.  So now I can't even communicate with anyone on the program...

Its probably the most complete up to date chat list that you'll find for winmx. You can then browse users of the rooms and hopefully find what your looking for. Hope that helps you out.
