Downloads cut-off at end

I'm having an issue here... I can get downloads to almost 100%, being within a few Kb of completion... then they all disconnect. Retrying does not work.

I recently removed the PIE patch in light of recent events, and the problem started around the same time. Coincidence?

WinMx 3.53
XP SP1
5MB cable
WS_32.DLL, not sure which version, but not 1.9/2.0

yea thats a coincidence.. I'd be the first to tell ya if either the hosts file or our dll could effect your downloads completing.

Have to remember that our network is much smaller, and that does equal less results. .less to choose from...although its getting better daily the numbers are rising...

What this means to you in this situation is this..

Not all but alot of the users we have on MX now are hard core and sometimes that means.. you run into people that only allow downloads if your uploading to them..

What I suggest is to have a look at some of the great Chat rooms we have on WinMX.  Most are very friendly folks, egar to help ya out.  

Just look down the list for some titles of rooms of your liking and pop by.. its also a great way to waste some time waitin for your downloads to complete
