I found this website called TED.com, and I wanted to share it. TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. You can watch this years conference on their website. Their aim is to spread ideas. I've watched quite a few and they're pretty interesting.

So far I've watched: a video about a speaker that you can only hear when it's aimed directly at a person, a video on String Theory, a video about how we're on the verge of creating synthetic life, how the evolution of technology will beat the financial crisis, and exploring new areas of coral reefs.

You can sort by "most favorited" to find the good ones.

those direct aim speakers have been around for a while... even used in my bank....

they are also all over disney worlds 'epcot' park.... first time i encountered one... scared the hell out of me...

- suggestion though dont add the RSS feed for the entire site it will flood your thunderbird
